 Ask
any author or publishing professional what
is the number one way to steer a book to success
and odds are the response will be "word
of mouth." Quite simply, readers like
to read books they can then chat about with
other readers.
"Word of mouth" or "buzz," as
it's commonly known in the publishing biz,
is the wind beneath every successful book's wings.
These days there's no better forum for getting
the proverbial word out than the Internet.
In addition to web logs and message boards,
mega sites like Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com make
it easy and yes, painless for readers to share
their impressions with other members of the
book-buying public. Along with emailing
Hope directly, she always encourages readers
to chime in on her message board by posting
customer reviews. Below are the links to Hope's
Amazon.com book pages where several "alert
readers" have
already made their voices heard.
Want to join
them but haven't posted before? Not to worry.
It's as easy as one-two-three. Click here for
the easy directions.
A handy and user-friendly pop-up window will open
that you can keep open as you head over to amazon.
I do recommend a quick glance through Amazon’s
review
writing guidelines. Now you're in the
book reviewing business.
