I have to agree, Alexandra. I was skeptical of a blond Bond at first plus Craig is short, not a bad thing but my image of Bond was “tall, dark and dangerous.” But Craig really owns the character. I think his is the most tortured Bond of them all. And I love tortured heroes, at least fictional ones.

I know David Niven was one of the former Bonds. A good actor but as Bond? No way.

I’m going to order Casino Royale via Netflix for sure.
